Dedicated to the memory of Andrea Hussey
This site is a tribute to Andrea Hussey. Born in Southampton on 27 June 1953, she developed asthma at an early age but this did not stop her living a full and eventful life. She was diagnosed with mild Interstitial Lung Disease in 2012. As is often the case, no cause was identified but it was thought to be Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis. Her condition gradually worsened but Andrea just adapted and got on with life, with help from extra oxygen as required. She caught flu in February 2018. After four weeks fighting subsequent infections her poor lungs were unable to cope and Andrea passed away peacefully, aged only 64. She will always be in our hearts.
